Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and returns work at Al Capone Downtown, operated by CAPONES GAINESVILLE LLC.

Membership refunds

New memberships begin with a 30-day free trial, so you can explore the full library before paying anything. If you cancel during the trial, you are never charged. If you are charged after the trial and are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. After the first 30 days, monthly memberships can be cancelled to stop future renewals, and annual memberships may be eligible for a prorated refund at our discretion.

Store orders

Unused store items in their original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, in which case we cover it.

How to request a refund or return

• Email info@alcaponedowntown.com with your order reference or account email and a brief note about the issue.
• For store returns, we will send return instructions and an address. Please pack items securely.
• Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days after we receive the return or approve the request.

Return window

The return window is 30 days from the date of delivery for store items, and 30 days from the date of charge for memberships. Requests made after this window may not be eligible.

Exceptions

• Perishable goods such as pantry items, oils, and spices cannot be returned once opened, for safety and hygiene reasons.
• Digital content already accessed, including downloaded or printed recipes, is non-refundable except as part of the membership guarantee above.
• Gift cards and promotional credits are non-refundable.
